創作出全新中英文概念專輯
‘The Things We Do For Love。為愛做的一切’
自2008年的首張專輯‘Start From Here’以來，Joanna的獨特嗓音早已進駐許多人的心海裡，成為你我釋放情感的唯一寄託。距離上一張作品‘Joanna & 王若琳’已有兩年多的時間，在這其間Joanna參加各式的巡迴演出，投入心力於自己的創作。
今年初夏，Joanna搶先在日本發行了一張，有別於一般流行專輯的全創作英文專輯‘博尼的大冒險 (The Adventures of Bernie the Schoolboy )’，這也是Joanna首次升格獨立擔任製作人，推出了這張實驗概念性十足、風格強烈的作品。
就在製作自己的全創作專輯的當下，Joanna再次瞭解到自己對音樂的執著與熱愛，無論是對音樂創作的愛、對聆聽音樂的愛、對歌唱的愛、或是對於歌迷的愛…就是這些各種形式的愛，一直在活化著她，讓她無法遠離對音樂的熱情。於是新專輯‘The Things We Do For Love。為愛做的一切。’就在這樣的心境之下誕生了，這張新作品以雙CD的方式收錄了中、英文共十一首Joanna自選的曲目，同時挑選其中三首英文歌曲分別錄製了Acoustic版，共十五首歌曲分別以一張英文選集，一張中文選集，讓所有歌迷們體驗感受，Joanna詮釋不同語言歌曲的奇妙魅力。
Joanna王若琳，再次為愛穿上來自不同時光片段所編織成的復古外衣，眼神開始蔓延著不同的光彩，悠游自在的穿梭在歌曲裡面，所有旋律、樂器及節奏，全都跟隨著她的腳步，既熟悉又陌生的靈魂穿越喉間，那些唇齒之間顫抖的音符歌聲，就這樣揪著你我的心，冷不防地 來回晃了一下，毫無能力抵抗。我們的七情六欲，都因此而移了位…Joanna又再一次的讓我們無力抵抗。
